1. Currency & Pricing Transparency

• Currency: All transactions and prices listed on our website are denominated in South African Rand (ZAR).

• Exclusions: Prices displayed on product pages exclude standard delivery fees, which are calculated as a flat rate of R520 at checkout.

• No Hidden Charges: The total price shown in your shopping cart before final confirmation is the absolute final amount you will pay. We do not apply hidden handling fees, transaction surcharges, or unexpected packing fees.

2. Accepted Payment Methods

We provide a completely secure online checkout experience. We accept the following payment options:

• Instant EFT / Secure Electronic Funds Transfer: Handled via our certified payment gateway providers (e.g., PayFast / Peach Payments / Ozow).

• Direct Bank EFT (Manual Deposit): Customers choosing direct bank deposits must use their Order Number as the payment reference and email proof of payment to sales@cateringandevent.co.za.

3. Payment Terms & Order Processing

• Full Pre-payment Required: To maintain efficient fulfillment, all retail online orders require 100% full payment clearing and verification before processing begins.

• Fulfillment Hold: No order will be packed, dispatched to our couriers, or made available for physical collection at our warehouse until full financial clearance has been formally confirmed by our banking institution.

4. Secure Transaction Protocols & SSL

Your security is our top priority.

• Our checkout interface utilizes SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) data encryption technology to safely transmit financial details.

• Carr Catering does not store, process, or keep your credit card numbers on our local business servers. All card data is managed externally by PCI-DSS compliant third-party payment gateways.

5. Order Verification & Security Fraud Audits

To maintain a safe commercial marketplace, orders may be subject to routine security verifications. Carr Catering reserves the right to cancel or hold any order where payment appears incomplete, unverified, or flags high-risk fraudulent indicators. If an order is canceled due to a verification failure, a full refund will be processed immediately.
